چکیده

We present the coupling of torsion scalar T and trace energy-momentum tensor $\mathcal {T}$ , which produces new modified f ( ) $f(T,\mathcal {T})$ gravity. Moreover, we consider functional form = α + β 2 {T}) =\alpha \mathcal {T}+\beta T^2$ where are free parameters. As an alternative to a cosmological constant, theory may offer theoretical explanation late-time acceleration. The recent observational data considered model especially bounds on parameters is applied in detail. Furthermore, analyze behavior deceleration, effective equation state total However, it seen that deceleration parameter depicts transition from acceleration dark sector shows quintessence-like evolution.

A New Approach in Quantum Gravity and its Cosmological Implications

This work concerns a new reformulation of quantum geometrodynamics, which allows to overcome a fundamental ambiguity contained in the canonical approach to quantum gravity: the possibility of performing a (3+1)-slicing of space-time, when the metric tensor is in a quantum regime. Our formulation provides also a procedure to solve the problems connected to the so called frozen formalism. In part...

Analytic solutions to Riemann-squared gravity with background isotropic torsion

Motivated by conventional gauge theories, we consider a theory of gravity in which the Einstein–Hilbert action is replaced by a term that is quadratic in the Riemann tensor. We focus on cosmological solutions to the field equations in flat, open and closed universes. The gravitational action is scale invariant, so the only matter source considered is radiation. The theory can also accommodate i...

Cosmological implications of an evolutionary quantum gravity

The generally covariant system “per excellence” is the gravitational field in General Relativity (GR), i.e. it is invariant under arbitrary changes of the space-time coordinates (4-dimensional diffeomorphisms). In particular, the Hamiltonian of such a theory is a combination of constraints, i.e. is (weakly) zero and one treats on the same footing observables and constants of motion. This non tr...

Dark Energy and Its Implications for Gravity

The cosmological constant is the most economical candidate for dark energy. No other approach really alleviates the difficulties faced by the cosmological constant because, in all other attempts to model the dark energy, one still has to explain why the bulk cosmological constant (treated as a low-energy parameter in the action principle) is zero. I argue that the until the theory is made invar...

Torsion formulation of gravity

We make it precise what it means to have a connection with torsion as solution of the Einstein equations. While locally the theory remains the same, the new formulation allows for topologies that would have been excluded in the standard formulation of gravity. In this formulation it is possible to couple arbitrary torsion to gauge fields without breaking the gauge invariance.
